Sex Addiction Expert Rob Weiss Has a Reddit AMA: Ask Him Anything!
On Tuesday, July 19th at 10 am Pacific, celebrated therapist Robert Weiss will host a sex and relationship themed Reddit AMA (“Ask Me Anything”). Got questions on cheating, sex/porn addiction or relationships? Now’s your chance – ask him anything!
Rob is a renowned expert on sexuality, relationships, infidelity, sex addiction, porn addiction, love addiction, and the ways in which digital technologies impact these issues. Quite literally, he has written the book on most of these topics, penning volumes like Closer Together Further Apart, Always Turned On, Sex Addiction 101, and Out of the Doghouse (available this fall), among others. Additionally, he is a featured player in National Geographic’s new series, Original Sin: How Sex Changed the World, airing Sundays from July 10 through August 14.
Over the years, Rob has seen it all and heard it all when it comes to human sexuality and relationships. He’s worked with the US Military and the Catholic Church, teaching them ways to properly deal with gender and sexual issues. He has worked with sex addicts, porn addicts and love addicts. He has worked with cheaters and their betrayed spouses. And the list goes on. If you can think of it, Rob has seen it and dealt with it, and he’ll have an opinion on it. Moreover, that opinion is likely to be both thought-provoking and useful.
For anyone with questions about sex, relationships and/or the ways in which digital technologies are changing the sex and relationship landscape, this Reddit AMA is a must-do event. Without doubt, Rob is one of the most knowledgeable and outspoken pro-sex, pro-relationship advocates out there, yet he is still willing to acknowledge that certain behaviors can and sometimes do spiral out of control in deeply problematic ways. But how do you know if there’s a problem? How do you know if you’re in danger of having a problem? And if you have a problem, what can you do about it?
If you’ve got a question, tune in and ask it. You’ll be glad that you did.
