As Public Awareness of Sexual Addiction Continues to Gain Momentum, a Leading International Expert Develops a New State-of-the-Art, Residential Program to Meet the Demand of a Growing Local, National and International Patient Population
LOS ANGELES, CA–(Marketwire – March 1, 2011) – Los Angeles-based Sexual Recovery Institute (SRI), since 1995 an internationally recognized sexual addiction treatment center specializing in intensive outpatient sexual disorders programs, announces that Founding Director Robert Weiss, LCSW, CSAT-S, has opened the Center for Sexual Recovery at The Ranch, a residential behavioral health program just outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
Fresh on the heels of the SRI’s acquisition by Elements Behavioral Health, the organization that currently owns and operates The Ranch as well as Promises Treatment Centers in West Los Angeles and Malibu, California, the announcement is the first of many in which Elements will bring Weiss’ sexual addiction expertise into the arena of behavioral health treatment.
In addition to his role as Founding Director of SRI, Mr. Weiss is the Director of the Center for Sexual Recovery at The Ranch (CSR), where he will spearhead ongoing program development, staff oversight and consulting, and ultimately act as spokesperson for all sexual disorders treatment programming.
“By bringing to The Ranch’s comprehensive residential setting the same sexual disorders treatment methodology that proved so successful at SRI, I believe we have created a continuum of care for sexual addiction and compulsivity that will be unmatched in our industry,” remarked Weiss. “We are growing this programming in a direction that is absolutely relevant to today’s technology-driven addiction landscape, offering reasonably priced, accountability-based, gender-specific sexual disorders treatment.”
